Made by local Indianapolis artist, Skye Lee Smith, who focuses on creating customized paintings of special places. She originally started by creating home portraits, and explores how public buildings can hold memories for us, as well.

She believes that each place has a story to tell, and that each building holds a myriad of memories, love, and support that is unique to each person. Whether you just bought your first home, have been living in your house for years, or have a special memory of a restaurant or monument, this structure is a representation of who you are and the life you are creating.

Skye works in the art of watercolor for over 10 years, graduating from Herron School of Art and Design in 2015, and currently works as an art teacher.
