Amizade from Brazil
Flavor Notes: Semi-sweet Chocolate, Toasted Almond, Cherry
It’s hard to go wrong with a classic, well-rounded coffee from Brazil; chocolatey and easy to drink, some might even venture to say ‘chuggable’. Balanced with a touch of cherry-like acidity and a nutty aftertaste, the Amizade really shines as an espresso, especially in milk-based drinks. It’s simply a great everyday coffee.
Huatusco Altura from Mexico
Flavor Notes: Dark Chocolate, Toffee, Dried Fruit
From this dark roast offering, you'll be surprised by the beautiful sweetness and complexity. Hailing from the state of Veracruz, Mexico, this coffee proudly displays flavor notes familiar to darker roasts, such as dark chocolate and toffee, along with a mild combination of dried fruits. It is balanced and full of flavor- a perfect daily drinker.
Tapachula Decaf from Mexico
Flavor Notes: Chocolate, Toasted Hazelnut, Citrus
We love offering delightful decaffeinated coffees for those of us that don't need the extra energy. With the pleasant dry chocolate notes expected of any Mexican coffee, this offering from the Chiapas region keeps us happy all day long. We also taste the sweet nuttiness of hazelnut and lively citric acidity with a pleasant medium body.
Process: Mountain Water Decaf - In this natural decaffeination process, green coffee beans are soaked in fresh mountain water for an extended period. The resulting water solution is drained, and then put through a unique filtration system that attaches only to the cellular structure of caffeine, and not to the compounds that make up a coffee's flavor. This decaffeinated solution is cycled through the coffee several times, preserving the quality flavor, before the lot is dried and prepared for shipment.
Fincha El Chorro Decaf from Mexico
Flavor Notes: Cocoa Powder, Caramel, Golden Raisin
We love offering delightful decaffeinated coffees for those of us that don't need the extra energy. Utilizing the Swiss Water decaffeination processing, this lot from Finca El Chorro in Chiapas, Mexico doesn't skimp on flavor. Full of pleasant cocoa and sweet caramel notes along with a mild raisin-like acidity, this coffee will supply you with the unique flavor you want any time of day.
Process: Swiss Water Decaf - In this famous natural decaffeination process, green coffee beans are rehydrated and soaked to create GCE (Green Coffee Extract). This GCE solution is then circulated through the coffee, filtered each time by a unique system that attaches only to the cellular structure of caffeine, and not to the compounds that make up a coffee's flavor. The result is a lot of coffee virtually free of caffeine while not sacrificing in flavor.
