We are currently hiring full-time Shift Leaders for our Mass Ave location:

Our Shift Leaders are responsible for consistently delivering the welcoming, inclusive, informative, and positive experience for customers and co-workers for which Silver in the City is known, through their own performance and that of the teams they are leading.

Shift Leaders:

• Participate in the training and coaching of sales team
• Model proficiency in product knowledge and procedure
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation
• Resolve issues and concerns, both professional and interpersonal, brought to them while Manager on duty
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with customers, co-workers and manager
• Utilize sales data to inform ongoing merchandising and promote sales
• Assist Manager and Assistant Manager with merchandising
• Participate in monthly Salesfloor Leadership meetings and team building activities
• Reports issues and concerns, both professional and interpersonal, to the Manager or General Manager
• Works regular Saturdays and/or Sundays on the salesfloor

In return for being accountable for the responsibilities of a Shift Leader as outlined, you will receive the following:

• Hourly wage of $16.75
• Quarterly Bonus Opportunity

• 32-40 Hour work week – including weeknights, Saturdays, and Sundays
• 60 hours Paid Time Off annually, accruing with each week of full-time work
• 40 hours paid sick time annually
• Time and a half pay for Holiday hours worked (Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve)
• Medical Insurance for permanent full-time employees at a cost of 20% of the premium
• SIMPLE IRA enrollment with 100% company matching up to 3% of income
• Staff Discount of 35%

We are always on the lookout for fun, outgoing Sales Associates:

• A part-time or seasonal employee
• Provides our front-line of sales assistance and customer service
• Adequate knowledge of product and policies
• A desire to help our customers find specific gifts and knowing where product is in the store
• Maintaining the sales floor by cleaning, restocking, etc as needed during appropriate times

• Works regular Saturdays and/or Sundays on the salesfloor
• Reports issues and concerns, both professional and interpersonal, to the Manager on Duty

In return for being accountable for the responsibilities of a Sales Associate as outlined, you will receive the following:

• Hourly wage of $14.75
• Quarterly Bonus Opportunity

• Up to 25 Hour work week – including weeknights, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Time and a half pay for Holiday hours worked (Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve)
• Staff Discount of 35%
