As far as clichés go, "every cloud has a silver lining" is a pretty solid feel good expression about optimism and hope. But it doesn't mean much without Action. For Silver in the City, Action is using our voice along with our platform and privilege to speak out for what we believe in. Action also takes the form of philanthropy.

The Silver in the City Silver Linings Fund (at the Central Indiana Community Foundation) was created to participate in addressing racial disparities in housing, healthcare, education, employment and criminal justice within Central Indiana communities through investments in CICFs Equity Partners Fund and IMPACT grants.

We hope you share our excitement and consider being part of the journey to not only feel hopeful about ending systemic racism, but to use our hope to spur Actions that support Black-owned businesses and community leaders in Central Indiana.
